The 30x58 Ft - 60 lb PATRIOT FLAG will fly in all of the 50 states before it flies in Manhattan, Washington and Shanksvile on the Tenth Anniversary. As this flag tours the country, it will send a message to the world and the families of the loved ones that were lost on 9/11/01: "We have NOT FORGOTTEN!"

WHO: Grassroots effort by local citizens & public safety personnel
WHAT: The PATRIOT FLAG will tour the nation in honor of the fallen on 9/11/01
WHEN: September 11, 2010 (San Diego) to September, 2011 (NYC)
WHERE: 50 States, hosted by local Fire/Police Dept's and Veterans Groups
WHY: NEVER FORGET / “Keeping the memories alive”
HOW: Year long tour of the nation. The flag will then be flown in NYC, Washington DC and Shanksville PA on 09/11/11 for the Ten Year Anniversary

Logistics:
The shipping BOX measures 36.25 x 20.25 x 28 inches and weighs 120 pounds. The box has four handles, wheels and an extendable travel handle. The flag will generally ship on Monday morning and arrive at the next destination by Tuesday p.m. - Wed a.m. every week. All of the shipping paperwork, hardware, rigging, a log book and five smaller 3x5 Memorial Flags are included. FedEx is a sponsor of this WM project and will air-ship the flag at no cost.
