WORLD MEMORIAL on Tour 2005
As a gift to the American people, the WORLD MEMORIAL North America Tour and ROS Memorial Concert series launched September 11, 2003 from British Columbia en route to New York City. South Pasadena hosted the American debut at Pasadena Civic Auditorium and San Diego sponsored the Balboa Park concert on September 11, 2004. Subsequent events are scheduled across North America.

WORLD MEMORIAL associates rose to the calling..."This we do so others may live"
BEAR Search and Rescue was able to alert and launch 27 SAR teams to the Louisiana coast - each rescuing over 220 victims. Teaming up with the 3rd Brigade 82nd Airborne, the BSAR teams rescued a total of 11,000 people and hundreds of animals. Complete Trenton Times article
Shannon Sandridge was one of the first search teams to arrive the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
His song "God Made Us That Way" can be heard on the WM Firefighter Tribute page.
WM Founder, Lt. Colonel Brus Messinger, worked out of Baton Rouge to coordinated aerial recon/rescue efforts between CAP assets and Louisiana State/Homeland Security EOC (Emergency Ops Center).

WORLD MEMORIAL Vice President was invited to the preview of 9/11 Documentary, “Answering The Call” at Ultra Star Cinemas.
After the feature film, Firefighter Mitch Mendler exhibited the WTC 1 Steel Maltese Cross, 9/11 artifacts, posters, Headlines in History and original WTC Pamphlet. For some articles, this is the exhibit's first appearance on the West Coast.

9/11 Memorial Ceremony, September 11, 2005
President of FDNY California Retirees, Jack Toale, rings the SDFD Fire Bell in honor of 343 fallen comrades.
Military ceremony included roll call of 125 Pentagon and the crew aboard 9/11 flights.
Thanks to the help of contributors and Vice President Mitch Mendler, the WORLD MEMORIAL collection of 9/11 artifacts, WTC Steel Maltese Cross, posters were on exhibit. Three new originals: Headlines in History, WTC Pamphlet and Missing Person flyers made their debut in San Diego for the 4th anniversary of September Eleven.

participate in Memorial Ceremony on the USS Midway Flight Deck for the four 9/11 flights.
LAFD escorted 9/11family members in the Sherman Oak Galleria - 9/11 Walk to Remember.
Fire Chief Juniel, presented a badge at his National City Fire Station #34 for the ROS Memorial.
After the 9/11 ceremony, FDNY members and NYPD Retirees gathered at the California Pioneer Hook and Ladder Fire Museum. Later, San Diego County FD Pipers took the WM exhibit to the famous McGregors Grill.
On the other side of the world, GZ Firefighter and WM Board Member, Vincent Forras
provided memorial services in the Philippines.
Vinny opened up the Gear UP Asia Office for the placement of Tsunami aid.
Symbolically, on this 4th memorial anniversary, the WORLD MEMORIAL website surpassed 100,000 visitors.
Thanks to 911 Family Member Joan Molinaro (Mother of deceased FDNY Firefighter Carl E. Molinaro, Ladder 2) officially clocked in number #100,119 on evening of this September Eleven.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, represented by Jeffrey Haner, Office of the Director of Public Safety Superintendent of Police, presented Kathleen (Katon) Tonnesen with the USA Flag that was flown at Ground Zero on Valentines Day 14 February 2006, as a Thank you for the 9-11 Canadian Release of Souls “Gift of Healing” to their Country. Kathleen was deeply touched by the fact that a project born of LOVE and Compassion was awarded the Flag that was flown on the day symbolic of LOVE. She said “I am proud and humbled to accept the USA Flag on behalf of the Canadian Release of Souls Team and am thankful to New Jersey State Honor Guard Commander, Fairlawn Police Lt. Robert Kneer and New Jersey State Bugler, Ret. Police Officer Robert Krupinski, for introducing WORLD MEMORIAL Release of Souls to the Port Authority of NY and NJ.”

Memorial day for Iron Worker of America
Ironworkers are Heroes in New York City.
Working the GZ pile non-stop, many brave lives were lost. And 4 years later, many are permanently disabled or dying due to the toxic debris. IWA Coordinator - Union Local 40, NYC Ironworkers, builders of WTC and other NY skyscrapers
Hunt and General Secretary Mike Fitzpatrick commented on the GZ recovery team operation.
"Whenever a firefighter or a police officer was being interviewed, they always said, ‘We are doing our job but - you should see how good those Ironworkers are!'"

WORLD MEMORIAL Salute to Uniformed Personnel of New Jersey with the Release of Souls Concert Tour and 9/11 Memorial tribute. Open to the public.
Prior to the concert there will be a special ceremony and ROS assembly for 9/11 Family members and invited guests. Friends and family will be given the opportunity to personally attach the names of their loved ones memorial before it continues on to Ground Zero. Harpists will create the musical ambience for the sacred attaching of names, as families reflect across the water at the Manhattan skyline. Barbara Lang will officiate as liaison of 9/11 Family members.
