On the several acres of the former buildings, there should be a living memorial in the form of botanical garden. It would be domed like the Crystal Palace of 1850's London,
and inside would be plants and trees from every nation that lost citizens on September 11, 2001. There could even be dedication plaques, with the names of victims and their national flora, with many native
American species present since we lost the majority of citizens(perhaps flora from all 50 states?). This monument would continue to thrive and preserve the memory of those lost. - Robert M. Kalisch
