Dear WORLD MEMORIAL,
The attached picture shows my concept for a rebuilding at the WTC site.
Features:
Retains some elements of the collapsed site...
new buildings rise from the wreckage
WTC Memorial Museum....
multicultural "faces of the world" sculptured facade
Twin lateral towers (reminiscent of the originals) now give rise to a
central tower to symbolism unity
Park, World Flags, reflection pond, eternal memorial flame at the base of the new WTC. The top of the main tower is an observation area ringed by a sculptured fence
depicting people holding hands
Main entrance is enhanced with sculptures of Firefighters raising the flag, and entrance figure with uplifted arms and gaze
