My idea consists of building a beautiful memorial park in which there are beautiful trees, bushes, and
flowers everywhere. Maybe an archway in the front of the park with the words..."We will remember...9-11-01." I envision a path made of footprints throughout the park. 3 paths in all. One path would lead up
to a pond and all the way around the pond made of footprints. On these footprints would be the names of all the victims lost in the towers on 9-11. In the center of the pond he would like to see 2 fountains to stand
for the towers and an American flag in between them. Another path of footprints would Have the names of the victims from the plane that crashed in DC on them and the third path with the names of the victims from the
plane that crashed in Pa. on them. These 3 paths would come to meet in the center of the park where there would be a plaque or some kind of monument with the poem of footprints on it. Maybe some benches throughout
the park where people can have picnics or sit down to relax. Reason for choosing footprints is that because of all the victims on 9-11 have left footprints in our lives and on our hearts.
Footprints In The Sand
One night a man dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Scenes of his life flashed across the sky. There were two sets of footprints in each scene, his and the Lord's. Looking back at the
footprints in the sand, he noticed that sometimes there was only one set of footprints, and that this happened at the lowest and saddest times of his life. Bothered, he said to the Lord, "You said when I
decided to follow You, that You'd walk with me all the way. Yet during my most troubled days, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed you most, You would leave me." The Lord
replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering when you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you." Author
