I would like to see a permanent, thought-provoking memorial there perhaps with a building housing personal memories, pictures of the victims, art in their honor, et cetera. I
envision a mesh/screen type tower representing the fact that the physical buildings are no longer there but, spiritually the buildings remain with the memories of all who perished in that horrific tragedy.
Ultimately, the dark side of human nature caused those buildings to come down. This is a humbling thought. Our small planet and those on it are so fragile. Leslie Robertson said he is haunted by the event and wonders what happened to the people inside the buildings. They saw God. The ladder represents that deep belief.
My prayers are with the families everyday and with all of you who are doing so much to help.
