Dear WORLD MEMORIAL,
I would like to submit my idea for the September 11th memorial. I call it: The Circle of Remembrance
1. In the center of the circle the flag of
United States of America always at half-mast. NEVER TO BE RAISED.
2. On top of the circle, flags from every country who lost someone on September 11th.
3. Over the doorways: The
Circle of Remembrance / September 11, 2001
4. Inside of the circle all the names (by alphabetical order) who died
on that day: Twin Towers, Pentagon, firefighters, on the planes, rescuers, Šetc. Beside the names a symbol - Twin Towers / Pentagon / Firefighter Hat / Wings etc
5.
On the outside of the circle various pictures. I thought possibly the pictures of the events as they happened or pictures of the towers / pentagon / planes with facts about them, ect..
